About Paul S. Marks
Paul Marks serves as Of Counsel to Westview Law PC. He has been admitted to the California Bar since 1988 and has more than three decades of trial and appellate practice in California civil and commercial litigation. His work spans employment, business, and complex commercial disputes in state and federal court.
Marks earned his J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 1988, where he served as an editor of the school's moot court program. He completed his undergraduate work at Brown University, graduating in 1983 with a B.A. in history and economics. In 1981, he held a Gulbenkian Fellowship and was a diplomate of the Universidade de Coimbra in Portugal.
He is an Associate of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). He has served as a Commissioner on the California Commission on Access to Justice since 2011, and he sits on the Executive Committee of the State Bar of California Solo and Small Firm Section. His earlier State Bar service includes the Executive Committee of the Litigation Section, the Civil Jury Instructions Committee, and the Committee on Administration of Justice. He has chaired the Editorial Board of Los Angeles Lawyer Magazine, the publication of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and serves as a Delegate to the American Bar Association House of Delegates.
